Taiwan bans civil servants from playing My Farm game on Face Book
Taipei - Thirteen local governments in Taiwan have banned civil servants from playing the My Farm game in the global social networking website Face Book after hundreds were caught playing it in office hours, officials said Wednesday.
While the Taipei City Government only allows its employees to play at lunchtime, 12 other local governments, including those in the southern county of Chiayi, bar staffers from accessing Face Book during office hours, they said.
According to estimates by Taiwanese media, there are more than three million My Farm players in Taiwan. (dpa)
