Swat Taliban’s deputy commander seriously injuredPeshawar, June 24 : Deputy commander of the Swat Taliban, Maulana Shah Dauran, has reportedly been injured as the Pakistan Army continued to pound militant hideouts in Swat and Malakand Divisions.

Sources said Dauran, who is famous for his hate speeches on the outfit’s illegal FM radio station, along with several other insurgents were injured during a military strike in the Kabal region of Swat.

Dauran, who belongs to the Qambar village near Mingora, has been declared dead on several occasions in the past, but he successfully ditched the armed forces, The News reports.

The North West Frontier Province (NWFP) government has announced a 10 million rupees bounty on Dauran. (ANI)
