Suzuki release teaser images of ‘Authentics’ Concept ahead of Shanghai Auto Show
Close on the heels of its recent announcement about the unveiling of the `Authentics' small sedan concept at the forthcoming 2013 Shanghai Auto Show later this month, Japanese automaker Suzuki has now released two teaser images of the `Authentics' Concept.
With the teaser images showing the Authentics Concept Sedan featuring a long body and a low roofline, the Japanese automaker has apparently delivered on its earlier promise that the car will be a C-segment sedan which would boasts a design that would be both sporty and elegant.
Since Suzuki will likely announce most of the details about the Authentics Concept Sedan when it unveils the car at the Shanghai show on April 20, the teaser images have hinted that, along with a low-slung, long-wheelbase, the car will apparently unfold a new design direction for the brand.
Meanwhile, as of now, there has been not been much official disclosure about the features of the Authentics Concept Sedan - which has been designed chiefly for the Chinese market - except that the car's overall design will include sharp lines on the side; with its sporty image to be further enhanced by dual chrome exhausts.
The Authentics concept will probably preview a new small production sedan for Suzuki; and will primarily challenge the likes of the Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Lancer, and Honda Civic. In addition, the concept will also seemingly fill the void which presently exists between the recently unveiled 2014 SX4 hatch/crossover and the mid-size Kizashi sedan.
