Suzlon and Indian Oil Together for another ProjectRecent developments in the oil markets have revealed that Suzlon Energy, the Wind Turbine making firm has received a 48.3 mega watt of wind power project from Indian oil, the public sector marketing firm for this field.

It was further revealed that it is the second time Suzlon has received such an order from Indian oil and the work for the same shall be conducted from Andhra Pradesh in India. This project shall be inclusive of the supply of 23 wind turbines from the Suzlon camp.

It was revealed by the firm that the power that shall be generated, so it could be further sold at the local power utility.

In the last project, both these firms had worked together for, Suzlon had built 21mw wind power project in the Kutch district in Gujarat for the Indian Oil firm. This was in the year 2009.

There shall be the installation of 23 S88 2.1 mw wind turbines for this project.

There are high hopes riding from both firms in terms of outputs from this project, though Time will tell what they have in store for the oil utility of the nation. Let’s see how much money they can make out of it. (IANS)
