Supporters of Girl with Cancer send Video Invite to Taylor Swift

A Chicago street has been named after Emily Beazley, a young girl battling cancer, to honor her. People were present in large numbers Sunday afternoon to take the stage at 115 Bourbon Street and kids of all ages wearing clothes of Emily's favorite color purple and neon green moved their bodies on the beats of Taylor Swift song to send a video invitation.

Emily will get a chance to meet Taylor Swift at her concert in Chicago this July, but her doctors are not sure if Emily would survive till that time to realize her dream.

Emily Beazley supporters planned to send an invite to Taylor Swift for which they all took to the stage at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park on Sunday. They all have high hopes that Swift will not break the heart of the girl and will reach out to her residence at Chicago's Mount Greenwood community.

The supporters have been using social media for more than a week to reach out to the Grammy Award-winning singer.

Many supporters contacted 115 Bourbon Street Saturday morning because the venue hosted a benefit for Emily a few years ago.

Rachel Micklas, a manager at 115 Bourbon Street, said, "I handled her benefit. I remember the song 'Call Me Maybe' was playing and all of sudden I hear this little girl's voice singing. It was Emily on the microphone singing and dancing in front of a thousand people".

Emily has been battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for four years and her doctors recently said to her that her last resort, a chemo treatment, has stopped working.

Her supporters think that it will be too late for the 12-year-old to attend Swift's concert at Soldier Field in July.
