Sun Pictures Acquires Entire Rights Of Rajni’s ‘Enthiran’Sun Pictures, the film production wing of media giant Sun Network, has acquired entire rights of flick ‘Enthiran – The Robot’.

According to sources, the flick featuring tollywood superstar Rajinikanth and bollywood hotty Aishwarya Rai is India’s costliest movie ever made.

Sources further revealed that producers of the flick, Ayngaran International and Eros hand over this Rs 150 crore budget movie to Sun Pictures due to the existing financial slump.

Recently, Sun Pictures took up distribution rights for its flicks including Kadhalil Vizhunden, Thee and Dindigul Sarathy among others.

Enthiran, the Tamil film, to be dubbed in Telgu and Hindi was started rolling in the first week of September. But due to financial crisis, the releasing of the movie was stopped.

Robot as ‘Enthiram’ was in news continuously for different reasons.

Previously, Shahrukh Khan was asked to play the lead role but he denied due to creative disputes with director Shankar.

But then Shankar managed to convince the biggest of superstars, Rajnikanth. After some creative conflicts, Robot was assigned a new name as ‘Enthiram.’

After ‘Jeans’, Enthiram will be the second movie for Ash under Shankar’s direction. The music of the film is composed by AR Rahman.
