Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010On the first day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010, while the senior designers shone bright, their juniors sparkled brighter. The day was high on creative energy.

Wendell Rodricks Wearability quotient: 8/10 He brought in the breeze of Goa on the runway with neat and breathe-easy silhouettes. With bias-cut skirts, tunic saris and dhoti gowns, the collection was crisp.

Narendra Kumar Ahmad Wearability quotient: 9/10 His was a collection young in appeal with flounced dress, embroidered satin dress, jump suits with taffeta inserts and brocade jackets.

Morphe By Amit Aggarwal Wearability quotient: 7/10 He surprised the audience with chic drapes in terms of dresses and gowns in white, brown and black with flowing silhouettes.

Pankaj & Nidhi Wearability quotient: 7/10 They shocked the audience with their best collection so far with an array of textures and stylish styles in geometrical patterns.

Rahul Mishra Wearability quotient: 10/10 Rahul proved that he means business when it comes to creativity. His khadi collection with stitch detailing and contemporary styles instantly won hearts.

Rahul Reddy Wearability quotient: 10/10 The highlights were the line-up of dresses with inverted shirts on them, pleated crinkled dress and the dress with multiple pockets… extremely stylish.

Ashima-Leena Wearability quotient: 5/10 They brought in vibrant hues and Western silhouettes with a fair sprinkle of kaftans.

Anamika Khanna Wearability quotient: 7/10 She made a stunning comeback with a line-up of black and white crushed sari worn over pants, shift dresses, organza coats and printed crushed sari worn over pants.

Ashish N Soni Wearability quotient: 8/10 A collection full of style with basket-weave draped dress, single breast one button jacket, box sleeves and bias single shoulder waist yoke dress.

Tarun Tahiliani Wearability quotient: 6/10 The line had plenty of drapes in jersey dresses and kurtas, ecru dresses and saris complete with shoes and clutches designed by himself.

Ritu Beri Wearability quotient: 5/10 Highlights were the white tunic worn with denim waistcoat, white georgette long dress, grey and beige knit dress, and olive knit top.
