State Bank of Mysore Q1 net up by 35% to Rs 111 crore
Leading public sector lender of the country, State Bank of Mysore has announced its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11. According to the initial reports it has registered an impressive net profit rise.
The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 111.39 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010. For the first quarter last year the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 82.19 crore.
This net profit figure has grown up by 35.5% in this quarter as compared to the same quarter in the last fiscal. This has been informed by State Bank of Mysore in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
So far as the total income of the company is concerned, it has touched Rs 1,067.57 crore during the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11. It was Rs 978.79 crore for the same quarter in the preceding year.
There has been a striking hike in the total sales of the firm in this quarter this year against same period in last year.
