Spanco Telesystems and Spice Televentures have entered into joint venture to create one of India’s largest onshore domestic BPO Company. 

The joint venture will see the merger of three domestic BPOs in the onshore space comprising of Omnia BPO Services, Bharat BPO and Spanco BPO Services.

This joint venture will offer ITES, BPO and all other related services including services in back office segment to clients encompassing customers across diverse segments including Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Telecom, Travel and eGovernance sectors in the country.

The JV currently employs around 10,000 people and plans to increase to around 15,000 employees by Financial Year ending March 2009 at an investment of Rs 500 crore.
