South Indian Film Federations Warn Asin Not To Pair With Sallu
The South Indian Film authorities had protested against the IIFA awards function, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
They boycotted the awards function organized by the Sri Lankan administration that had pitilessly killed thousands of innocent Tamilians. The Tamil organizations also placed a ban on the actors and actresses who took part in the award function.
However, some stars including Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan paid no attention and attended the function.
As a result, Hrithik Roshan's Kites was thrown out from the South Indian theatres.
Presently, Sallu Miyan is working in a flick opposite Asin. The Sri Lankan Government has invited the film maker to shoot this film in Sri Lanka. So the film which was to be shot in Mauritius was relocated to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan administration has extended all facilities for the shooting of this film as Salman Khan took part in the IIFA.
But now there is a protest going on against Asin owing to her pairing up with Salman. Many people are calling her up, on her cell phone, and requesting her not to act in this film.
The Salman Khan film Ready will not be screened in the five states of South either.
While speaking about this, Asin said, "I also got the invitation to participate in the IIFA. But respected the emotions and sentiments of the Tamil people and boycotted that function. But the producer here, has only signed me to act in the film Ready. I have given my call sheet to act in his film." (With Inputs from Agencies)
