Soon, A TV Show Based On Sonia Gandhi’s Life!
It appears that Indian TV is revamping its style.
After the Saas Bahu tales, reality shows, social alertness and horror, it's time to turn face towards political route. A novel show based on political relations will shortly be launched on DD National.
A source said that the new show on DD National will be based on the life of Sonia Gandhi.
The show will be more of her journey as a small kid, how she matures and makes entry in political field.
The only difference being that she won't be a foreign person. In contrast, she will be born and brought up in India. It's just that the story has been inspired from her life.
"Initially it will depict a love triangle between the protagonist and two other guys. But the events thereafter will bear an uncanny resemblance to Sonia's life, with the lead actor being compelled to enter politics after her husband's death. The title has not been fixed as yet but the show is expected to hit the air within the next two months. Shooting for the show has already started in Gujarat," the source added.
Elaborating on the cast of the show, the source says, "Shiju Kataria who essays the role of Smriti of 'Behenein' will be executing the role of the lead (Sonia Gandhi). She will be accompanied by Raza Murad who is also a well known TV actor. The show will be depicted in a filmy style with a similarity to Sonia Gandhi's life but not a copy of it. It has a very powerful concept and will be aired on a prime time slot." (With Inputs from Agencies)
