Six injured in Istanbul bomb blast
Ankara - Six people were injured in a bomb blast Monday at the Istanbul headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), the NTV private television station reported.
Television footage showed that the blast smashed a number of windows at the entrance of the office building in the central Istanbul suburb of Beyoglu. Four of the injured were police officers.
Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler said investigators were looking at footage from security cameras to try and find out who placed the bomb. There was no immediate claim of responsibility. (dpa)
