Sita Shree Food Products ends day one at 47% premium to issue price

Indore-based, Sita Shree Food Products managed to get listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at Rs 35 per share, at a premium of 16.7% or Rs 5 over the offer price of Rs 30 per share. The shares touched a high of Rs 46.70 and a low of Rs 33.95 during the day.

The company had entered capital market with an IPO of 1.16 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each. The issue was subscribed 2.44 times.

Sita Shree is in the business of wheat and pulse processing. The product portfolio of the company consists of wheat, maida, rawa, daliya, suji, chana dal etc. These products are marketed under its own brand like Sita Shree, Regular and Sita Shree Gold.

The company proposes invest the net proceeds of the issue to part finance its Rs 481.2 million expansion plan.

The stock of the company closed with a premium of Rs 13.70, or 45.67%, at Rs 43.70 as against issue price of Rs 30. Total volume of shares traded was 35,352,625 at the NSE.
