Shooting of ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ Starts

After a log time gap of eight years, ace Bollywood film maker Aditya ChopraAnushka Sharma King Khanand King Khan have come together for their new film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

The movie will take viewers to the days of “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” the longest running motion picture in Indian cinema history.

The shooting of the movie got off to a smooth start on Friday, May 16, with SRK and newcomer Anushka Sharma.

Yash Chopra was also present on the sets to bless his son and the unit.

‘Rab ne Bana Di Jodi’ is the New Bollywood Hindi Movie from Yash Raj Films. It would be the third Directorial Venture of the Super Hit Director, Producer and one of the most powerful person in Bollywood today, Aditya Chopra.

Aditya Chopra makes a come back to the director’s seat after a time gap of 8 long years.
 
King Khan said, “Starting the first day of shooting still gives me goose bumps.”

“And to make films with Yash Raj, that too when Adi is directing, is an experience that is more than 100 percent exciting. Yash Raj Films is, and will always be, home for me and who doesn't love coming home? Yashji and Adi have always given me roles that have gotten me love and appreciation from fans all over the world. And this time Adi has again written a character for me to play that I think will become as beloved as Raj of DDLJ was,” he added.

The music of the film would be composed by Salim-Sulaiman.

The film revolves around the love relationship between a 40-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl, and is believed to have an interesting twist in the climax.

The film, to be shot in Greece, Australia, and Dubai, will hit Indian theatres on December 12, 2008.
