Sensex Turns Volatile In Morning TradeThe 30-share index Sensex today turned volatile in morning trade and was trading 56 points up than its previous closure at 16,617.1.

The Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 16,621.12, was trading 56.65 points or 0.34 percent up at 16,673.75.

In the meantime, the broader 50-share S&P CNX Nifty was trading at 5,005.9, up 0.38%.

The BSE midcap index was trading 0.72% up and the BSE smallcap index remained up by 0.6%.

The Sensex on Tuesday ended in the red for second straight day after losing 163.97 points at 16,617.10 on renewed offloading by local operators together with pessimistic worldwide signals.

Nifty index closed below 5k mark at 4,987.10 with a loss of 46.90 pts. (With Inputs from Agencies)
