Brad Pitt faced a weird incident when he was roughed up by a security guard. The guard grabbed him and spun him at the premiere of his latest movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Incidently, the guard had been hired to protect the actor.

Brad Pitt had to struggle to get out of the clutches of the guard and eventually locked himself in a washroom to escape humiliation.

"We were told by Mr. Pitts' people that he was being followed by numerous paparazzi that ran a minimum of 20 red lights to keep up with Mr. Pitt," the so-called "executive protection specialist" involved in the paparazzi scuffle said. "When Mr. Pitt arrived at the theater approximately seven paparazzi rushed the front door of the theater and began to rush inside.

It's security's sole priority to protect the talent and I removed Mr. Pitt immediately from what could have been a potentially dangerous situation." The actor feels that the guard is not to be blamed as he was being chased madly by paparazzi. He probably tried to protect Brad Pitt from prying eyes. He later told People. com, "Though they were exceptionally more aggressive than usual breaking through a security barrier and into a private holding area, ultimately (it was) just another day in the life. ..."
