Satyam Computer Services, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, has announced its alliance with International SEMATECH Manufacturing Initiative (ISMI), a global alliance of the world`s major semiconductor manufacturers to develop ISMI) - a next-generation advanced software tester solution.

This advanced software tester solution will not only validate the automation capabilities of advanced semiconductor factory equipment, but will also focus on ISMI requirements and will imitate semiconductor-manufacturing environments, and enable equipment makers to check the conformance of their tools to current and emerging SEMI standards in equipment connectivity and fab manufacturing automation.

ConFy- a next-generation advanced software tester solution provides highly automated testing of SECS/GEM 300 SEMI standards implementation with minimal user interference and manual interpretation of results.

Besides it also has custom test plan scripter for testing actual production environment, secures test entities and supports multiple load ports, concurrent testing and creation of custom reports.

Shares of the Satyam Computer Services closed at Rs 409 on National Stock Exchange. The total volume of shares traded was 797,362 at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
