Samsung Jet Ultra takes off with O2

Samsung-JetSamsung has brought forward its latest addition, called Jet Ultra, sources confirmed. The gadget is available with O2 network.

It appears to be an upgraded version of original Samsung Jet. The handset akin to Jet has a 3.1 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 5 megapixel cameras, 800MHz processor, wi-fi and an FM radio. It also works on the TouchWiz interface.

Minute changes, which are basically morphologically linked, are the sleek look, the social networking apps and an iPlayer widget. Apart from these and a few tweaks here and there it is almost the same platform as the older Jet.

The Jet Ultra comes only with O2, which makes it O2 exclusive. One has to shell out £15 per month for a two year contract, which avails a free handset. It also has an 18 months contract, supposedly the cheapest plan, which offers the phone for free at £20 per month.

Throwing freebies like these O2 is leaving no stone unturned to gain an edge over the competitors.
