Samsung Galaxy Note II spotted in two new color variants – red and brownIn an indication that the Samsung Galaxy Note II `phablet' - smartphone-cum-tablet - may well be available in two new colors, Japanese mobile news site Blog of Mobile has recently reported that the device will seemingly have two new color variants - `red' and `brown.'

The Blog of Mobile story about the two new Galaxy Note II color variants comes close on the heels of revelation, a day back, that a `Black' version of the Galaxy Note II has been spotted in the wild.

With the 5.5-inch phone/tablet hybrid currently available in `Marble White' and `Titanium Gray' colors, the two new colors, red and brown, will officially go by the name `Ruby Wine' and `Amber Brown' respectively.

In addition to the Blog of Mobile's disclosure about the two new red and brown versions of the Galaxy Note II, and also possibly a Black version, a SamMobile report had earlier revealed that the phablet will also be launched in a `Topaz Blue' variant.

Though the reports about the new color variants in Galaxy Note II remain officially unsubstantiated, the likelihood of the new color options for the phablet is quite high, especially since Samsung's Galaxy S3 is available in a wide range of colors, including Marble White, Pebble Blue, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, Titanium Gray, and Amber Brown.
