Ryan Reynolds dreads certain tape from one of his 'pretty awful' auditions

Washington D.C. [USA], Nov. 29 : Looks like Ryan Reynolds has secrets and several other past memories that he prefers not to show the world or "that'll be the death" of him.

The 40-year-old star recently sat down with Taraji P. Henson for Variety's ' Actors on Actors' series, where he revealed there is a certain audition tape from his past he hopes never sees the light of day, People magazine reports.

After noting that he "was never a great auditioner," the 'Deadpool' star recalled one audition where he had to sing.

"I'm a nervous singer. I'm one of those people that . you know when you're in the shower, and you're like, 'This is pretty good?' But once I get out into the real world, it's just like my voice turns into a hammer that hits everybody in the face," he said.

So when he auditioned for a movie that involved singing, Reynolds said it "was pretty bad."

"I look back and I think, 'What if that tape surfaces at some point? That'll be the death of me.' Yeah. That was pretty awful," he added.

Reynolds is known for his witty humour and delivering the occasional clunker. Asked about his last audition, he told Henson, "I auditioned and failed for the Coen brothers. Hail, Caesar! was it? No, it was the one before that."

"It wasn't the right fit, mostly because they're very high class. They were just quietly shaking their heads, like, 'What are you doing here? Do you have a SAG card?'" he added.(ANI)
