Royal Enfield comes up with new Bullet 500Two-wheeler major, Royal Enfield has come up with a new Bullet 500 motor bike for the Indian customers in order to compete better with a host of domestic as well as foreign competitors in the country.

The new Bullet 500 is powered by 500cc twin-spark carburetted 4-stroke UCE engine which makes 26.4PS of power and a meaty 40.9Nm of torque. The bike has 5-speed gearbox on the left side enabling the bike to put the power on the road. In its appearance, the new model looks much like the popular traditional Bullet and the company is also offering the model with a new Frost Green colour.

The round headlamp of the motor bike will now have two Tiger Lamps. The fuel tank features silver and gold livery for the RE logo. The pillion has a cushion-finished grab-rail while the tail light remains the same traditional RE round shaped light. The tyre size is the same as 19-inchers with the front wheel getting a 280mm disc brake.

The company is set to announce the pricing details of the new Royal Enfield Bullet 500 next week. The new model will compete with rivals including Baja, Yamaha, Honda, TVS and others in the country.
