Rovio announces ‘Bad Piggies’ availability for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad

Rovio announces ‘Bad Piggies’ availability for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Last week, Finnish game developer Rovio announced that its newest title - `Bad Piggies' - was immediately available for Apple's popular devices --- including the iPhone, the iPad and the iPod touch.

According to the announcement by Rovio, the `Bad Piggies' version for the iPhone and iPod touch is priced at $0.99; and the iPad version is available for $2.99. Both the versions can now be downloaded at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.

With essentially the same panache as the studio's outrageously popular `Angry Birds' game, complete with a multi-hued backdrop and lovable animations, the newly-released `Bad Piggies' retains the pigs from the `Angry Birds' series, but requires the gamers to build a craft for the pigs so as to help them find the eggs which they want so desperately.

Once the `Bad Piggies' players have built the tumbly-flying vehicle for their pigs, they navigate it through the game level to search for the Angry Bird's eggs. The game comprises 60 levels, along with 30 additional puzzles which get unlocked when the players score three stars on levels.

Moreover, with the new `Bad Piggies' title also featuring four sandbox levels as well as an "ultra-special, ultra-secret, ultra-difficult" sandbox level, 33 objects that can be collected and used for building better pig crafts, and lots more, Rovio has described the new title as "the ultimate flying/crawling/rolling/spinning/crashing device" game.
