A Rocking ‘Mood Indigo’ Evening With Asha Bhosle And Amit KumarThis year's `Mood Indgo', the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay, has been a rocking event due to the presence of legendary singer Asha Bhosle and Amit Kumar. This created the classic mood and unlike the popular belief, gen-next loved the popular classical numbers and they even joined them adding to the enthusiasm factor.

IIT Bombay's annual cultural festival `Mood Indigo' is also called `Moodi', which is organized every year at the end of December. It is attended by over 72,000 students from more than 500 colleges across the country.

This year, the festival started on December 20 and day 1 was dedicated to `Asha tai' and late Kishore Kumar's son Amit Kumar, who is no less than his father when it comes to melodious singing. The students were cheering the stars with claps and greeted them in a big way.

Ashaji was looking stunning in a shimmering blue-green sari and rocked the stage with some yesteryear hit numbers like `Dum maaro dum', `Yeh mera dil' and `Yeh ladka hai allah'. Amit Kumar accompanied her in the number `One, two, cha cha cha'. The veteran singer also turned young for the evening and crooned for the students `We will rock you' .

The festival starting in 1971 has become the biggest festival of its kind in Asia and presence of Asha Bhosle took it to the next level.
