Rest of India takes lead in Irani CupRest of India has taken 201 runs lead with all the wickets in the hand at the end of play on the third day of the Irani Cup against Mumbai in Nagpur on Sunday. Rest of India score stood at 171 runs without loss of any wicket at the close of play.

Rest of India openers, Abhinav Mukund and Murali Vijay smashed unbeaten half-centuries to put their team in commanding position. Mukund was not out at 86 runs while Murali was unbeaten at 77 when play was stopped due to bad light.

Earlier in the day, Mumbai resumed their inning from the overnight score of 200 for six and the whole team bundled out after adding just 30 runs to the total. Rest of India got 30 runs lead in the first inning.

Munaf Patel finished his five wickets haul after adding two more wickets to his tally in the morning while S Sreesanth took two more wickets to end with 3 wickets for 46 runs.
