Washington, Sept 20 : A new research has found that effective communication is the key factor to keeping the spirits of cancer patients intact.

New York, Sept.20 : New York City officials have reportedly pulled out all stops to prevent The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from laying a wreath at Ground Zero during his visit here next week.

New York Police Department, Secret Service and Port Authority officials are reported to have told the Iranian Mission that no one is allowed in the pit because it's a live construction site and dangerous. They said that if a wreath was to be laid, it could be "shoved" from a distance.

Some cancer cells ‘mimic’ stem cells to evade chemotherapy

Washington, Sep 20 : A new study has found that in order to survive chemotherapy, some cancer cells mimic stem cells.

The study, from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, suggests that some anti-cancer treatments might have an opposite effect on cancer cells, actually expanding the small population of cancer stem cells believed to drive the disease.

Washington, Sept 20 : Actress Kate Walsh has topped a poll of ‘Hollywood’s Hottest Redheads’.

The poll was conducted by entertainment magazine In Touch Weekly.

Walsh, a natural blonde, admits that flame-haired women definitely have more fun than their fair-headed or brunette counterparts.

"When I was blonde, they treated me like a girly girl. As a redhead, it was a little more sassy," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the mag.
