Jennifer Garner seeks permanent restraining order against alleged stalker

New York, Nov 20 : Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner is seeking a permanent restraining order against her alleged stalker.

The court papers filed by the ‘Juno’ star revealed her terror over letters received from her stalker Steven Burky.

"Mr. Burky''s repeated efforts to contact me, his delusional and paranoid letters, his appearance at my private residence, and his recent claims that I will be ''persecuted'' in a manner that may result in my death are all extremely frightening," she wrote in court papers.

"I now fear not only for my own personal safety, but also for the safety and well being of those I love and care most about, including my husband and my daughter,’” she added.

Travolta and Cyrus have lent their voices to new animated film Bolt, and have even sung a duet for the soundtrack together.

Washington, November 20 : A team of researchers used a 3-D locomotion video-recording and measuring system to observe and measure the angular rotation of joints in gecko''s limbs, as they ran on horizontal floor and climbing on vertical wall.

Scientists at Institute of Bio-inspired Structure and Surface Engineering (IBSS), Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) believe that their work may help understand gecko''s locomotion from the view point of angle change of joints, and provide a direct reference to plan the gait of gecko-robots.

Geckos’ excellent locomotion abilities to move on various surfaces are highly desired for creating such robots as will be able to move in unstructured environments, especially legged robots.

Gwyneth Paltrow apologises for fox fur faux pas

The 36-year-old actress came under fire from the animal rights campaigners after she appeared in Italian designer Tod''s advertising campaign.

PETA''s senior vice president, Dan Mathews revealed that they chatted with the actress at the Fontainebleau Hotel opening in Miami over the weekend.

According to Mathews, Paltrow admitted that she did not know that the fur was real, reports Usmagazine. com

“Muslims world over seeing Obama as an ‘internationalist president’”

Barack ObamaWashington, Nov 20 : Prof John Esposito, a leading US expert on Islam, has reportedly said that the US President-elect Barack Obama has been welcomed worldover as an ‘internationalist President’, contrary to George W Bush who, according to him, is often regarded as a ‘swaggering Texas cowboy’.

Esposito said that Obama’s foreign policy will be expected to be all the things that many in the Muslim world saw as lacking in the Bush administration, which was viewed as “neo-colonial, unilateral, arrogant, militant and interventionist”.
