Camilla to quit Far East royal tour midway because she dislikes the heat

Camilla Parker BowlesLondon, Oct. 8: Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, will undertake a 10-day tour of the Far East at the end of the month, but Camilla will return home half way because she dislikes the heat.

The trip, which will cost the British taxpayer 500,000 pounds, includes visits to Japan, Brunei, and Indonesia.

According to the Daily Express, Camilla’s decision to quit the royal tour mid-way will raise fresh questions about her commitment to her royal duties.

Harry EnfieldLondon, Oct. 8 : The Philippines Government and the Filipino community have strongly condemned a comedy skit appearing on BBC where a man urges his neighbour to "mount" a Filipina maid.

An online petition described the skit appearing on the BBC show Harry and Paul as "disgraceful", "distasteful" and "tantamount to racism".

The petition attracted hundreds of signatures yesterday and calls were growing last night for the BBC to apologize, according to The Scotsman.
