London, Oct 9 : In an attempt to get schools and colleges to tackle the problem of teenagers being radicalised or indoctrinated by terrorists, the UK Government is expected to announce a guidance strategy “Plan Together To Be Safe” whereby school and college students will be taught about terrorism and violent extremism.
According to an estimate, the scheme would cost the government around 4.5 million pounds.
According to timesonline. com, Schools Secretary Ed Balls will issue the guidance on how schools should approach the subject of tackling terrorism.
Earlier, the Government had issued advice for universities on how to prevent the spread of extremism on campus.
