Why men find women in uniforms irresistible

London, Oct 11: Men just love to see a gorgeous girl in uniform. And now, a new research has found out why exactly it is so.

According to the Revolver Entertainment poll – to mark the DVD release of Female Agents –military look of females is the favourite among guys.

In the survey, 17percent of men said the power-dressing look was their favourite, especially suiting brainy babes, reports the Daily Star.

A fifth of those surveyed said a military uniform was best, putting fantasy version of a pilot’s uniform second in the list.

Britain’s favourite is the nurse’s uniform.

Women in firefighting gear did not top the survey of men, however blokes still consider them sexy.

Albert Einstein’s letters dismiss the idea that his theories were “twaddle”

London, Oct 11 : German-born theoretical physicist Albert Einstein’s letters, which dismiss the notion that his theories are hard to understand, are to be auctioned on October 16.

In the letters, Einstein had written about his views on how to deal with an aggressive Russia after the Second World War.

They dismiss the idea that his theories are “twaddle” or nonsense.

Psychoanalyst Walter Marseille, who was Einstein’s correspondent, had also promoted an idea for a world government, in a paper entitled ‘A Method to Enforce World Peace’, which he sent to the scientist and to the philosopher Bertrand Russell.

Greenhouse effect may also cool the climate

London, Oct 11 : An example of the greenhouse effect cooling the climate has been seen in Spain, where the roofs of hothouse farms reflect so much sunlight that they may be pushing down local temperatures.

Since the 1970s, semi-arid pasture land in Almeria, south-eastern Spain, has been replaced by greenhouse horticulture.

Today, Almeria has the largest expanse of greenhouses in the world - around 26,000 hectares.

According to a report in New Scientist, Pablo Campra of the University of Almeria and colleagues studied temperature trends from weather stations inside the region, and from other areas of Spain.

Wockhardt Inks Licensing Pact With UK-Based Sinclair Pharma

India Pharmaceutical major Wockhardt Limited has signed an in-licensing Wockhardt Inks Licensing Pact With UK-Based Sinclair Pharmapact with UK-based Sinclair Pharma, to market a range of dermatology and dental products in Indian market. 

The 10-year exclusivity agreement covers a broad range of patented and innovative products, including Papulex, Atopiclair, Aloclair and Decapinol range. 

Further, the agreement also envisages that Wockhardt manufacture the formulation in India from bulk imported from Sinclair Pharma.

Sony unveils world’s thinnest TVLondon, Oct 11: Electronic giant Sony has launched the world’s thinnest television, which has a screen as slim as a CD case.

The ultra thin TV, called the Sony Bravia ZX1, will hit the market in the coming January.

The extraordinary creation was unveiled at the NEC''s Grand Designs show.

"It really has a beautiful look to it. It''s hard to believe that something so slim can produce such crystal clear picture,” The Telegraph quoted Craig Bolton, from West Bromwich, West Midlands, who visited the show, as saying.
