Alcohol, drug abuse sees 42,000 Brit pupils sent homeLondon, Nov 3 : With substance abuse on the rise, around 42,000 Brit pupils have been sent home for alcohol or drug-related reasons in the past four years.

The finding made on November 2 also revealed that half a million under-18s have been able to buy alcohol in bars.

The easy availability of alcohol was not the only problem, with 47 per cent of the youngsters, who drank regularly, admitting to having committed criminal offences.

The Wittelsbach diamond, which apparently originated from the Indian diamond mines, is almost once inch in width.

A Christie’s spokesperson claimed that offering a blue diamond of this type was ''truly extraordinary''.

It was given to Infanta Margarita Teresa by her father King Philip IV of Spain on her engagement to her uncle Leopold I of Austria—one of the most historic events in European history.

Brit woman sues Bon Jovi for £250,000 after her run over at concert

Jon Bon JoviLondon, November 3 : Hard rock band Bon Jovi has been sued for 250,000 pounds by a Brit woman, who claims that one of the group’s staff purposely ran a golf buggy over her at a concert.

Sally Allen, a security supervisor, alleged that she had tried to prevent Kevin McDonnell, from entering the back-stage area after a fire broke out at the Milton Keynes concert in 2006, reports the Telegraph.

She further claimed that McDonnell had said: “I don''t care about your emergency situation. Get out of my way, you f***ing whore. Do you know who I am? You can''t f***ing stop me."
