Winehouse-Doherty duet doomed?London, Nov 5 : Pete Doherty and Amy Winehouse have failed to make it to NME magazine''s 2008 Cool List.

Doherty once topped the controversial rundown of 50 pop stars and the ‘Rehab’ hitmaker featured at number eighth last year.

Meanwhile, Electro punk band Crystal Castles singer Alice Glass has topped the list, reports the Sun.

Glastonbury headliner Jay-Z came second while MGMT singer Andrew Vanwyngarden landed the third spot.

Jackie Chan to star in period road movie

The actor will also pen the screenplay of the film. Although the ‘Rush Hour’ star has started working on the screenplay, shooting is expected to begin early next year.

Spox Yuan Nong from the Beijing office of Chan''s JCE shingle confirmed the pic would be shot next year but gave no further details, reports Variety.

London, Nov 5 : The original owners of a pirated video will now be able to make profit when the copied content will be broadcasted online, all thanks to a new technology developed by California-based company Auditude.

The new system will simply overlay copyright-infringing footage with advertising designed to generate revenue from the video sharing websites like MySpace and YouTube.

Such sites have often been asked to remove content like music videos and TV shows uploaded without permission from the copyright holders.

The sites have been accused of profiting from such activity, which is considered to be a major block in making profit from providing free video online.
