London, Apr 16 : To end the island nation''s age old long bitter conflict, the Sri Lankan Government is reportedly trying to broker a deal that may allow Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) chief Velupillai Prabhakaran to lay down his arms and escape into exile.

The government has sent "feelers" to the LTTE to see whether such a deal would be possible, The Independent reported.

London, April 16 : Match of the Day host Gary Lineker may have to keep an eye on chef Marco Pierre White while his fiancee Danielle Bux competes in Hell''s Kitchen.

Lineker tried to offer Bux some moral support by popping up to the kitchen, reports the Sun.

Dr Richard Dixon, director of WWF Scotland, says that wasting energy is an ‘antisocial act’ that should be viewed in the same way as drink-driving.

"We should be viewing this as an antisocial act to be wasting energy needlessly,” Stv. tv quoted Dixon as telling BBC Radio Scotland’s Morning Extra programme.

The 250-year-old tiny antique was discovered in a pile of bric-a-brac, and carries a message against the act that led to the Boston Tea Party.

The rare orange pot was made by Wedgwood and carries the controversial messages "No Stamp Act" and "Success to Trade in America". It implies protest against the Stamp Tax - the row that led to the American Revolution and US independence.
