Pune, Nov. 29 : A female television producer who was trapped inside Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Hotel on Wednesday night, has said that she could feel the heat of the fire in the lobby and the firefight between the terrorists and the National Security Guard commandos.
Speaking from the safety of her home in Pune, Vaibhava Rele told Fox News that she had gone to the hotel for a production meeting, and added that when gunfire broke out, there were about 25 people in the room.
“We did hear loads of gunfire through the night. There was fire, there was smoke, there was water from sprinklers all around. “You could feel the heat of the fire in the lobby of the hotel,” she told Fox over phone.
