Peshawar, Feb 28 : At least 13 alleged al-Qaeda and Taliban rebels were killed in the tribal areas of Pakistan on Thursday in a suspected US missile strike.
According to residents of a village in South Waziristan, a missile blew up a house.
“A house used as a den by Al-Qaeda and Afghan Taliban militants was hit by a missile. Thirteen people were killed and around 10 were wounded,” a senior Pakistani security official told a foreign news agency.
“There was no immediate information about the presence of any high-value target,” he added.
