Khan also Finance Secretary of the party's NWFP chapter was going to his home in a car along with members of his family when some unidentified gunmen fired at the car, sources said.

New ancient artefacts found at Moenjodaro

Larkana, Feb 2 : A team of archaeologists working on a drain to flush out rainwater from the DK-G area of an explored part of Moenjodaro found some ancient artefacts and cultural objects.

Rainwater stagnates in several parts of the world heritage site every year, causing causes immense damage.

Well-defined structures of old drains were discovered along with certain old artefacts during the digging.

"We had gone just half a metre down the level of surface of the old structures in the DK-G area and found the material of cultural value," The Dawn quoted Moenjodaro director Qasim Ali Qasim, as saying.

After reports that Pakistani investigators had found the attacks were not planned on Pakistani soil, there were "insinuations" that they were planned in the UK, he said.

Senior UNHCR official kidnapped in Pak, driver killed

Quetta, Feb 2 : A senior official of UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has been kidnapped on Monday in Quetta, the largest city and the provincial capital of the Balochistan Province of Pakistan.

According to initial reports, unknown persons opened fire on the car of head of UNHCR Balochistan John Solecki as soon as he left the home for office.

Syed Hashim Raza, the driver of Solecki has been killed in the incident whereas attackers abducted John Solecki.

Senior police officials have reached the scene after the incident, The News reported.

Police have cordoned off the area and launched search operation for the recovery of the UNHCR official.

3 Pak women accused of raping a man for 4 consecutive daysKarachi, Feb 2: Karachi police have registered a case against three unidentified women who allegedly abducted a man and raped him over four consecutive days, and later throwing him near Qayyumabad River in an unconscious state.

The victim identified as Khalil (23) had recently arrived in Karachi from Rahimyar Khan, and works as a waiter at a restaurant in Neelum Colony, Clifton.

Khalil revealed that, on the night of January 27, an identified man ordered him to deliver food to the women sitting in a car parked outside the restaurant.
