London, Nov 14 : The world''s first shop dedicated only to the Barbie doll has opened in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Barbie Store not just sells the 11-inch slender dolls; it sells everything that a young girl needs to become Barbara Millicent Roberts, the famous blonde from the fictional town of Willows, Wisconsin.

Next year, when Barbie turns 50, the format will be replicated in cities around the world, reports the Independent.

London, Nov 14 : Increasing numbers of people in Britain are choosing to be buried at sea in order to get more eco-friendly.

More and more people are opting for a watery send-off at the two locations off the British coast - near Isle of Wight and Newhaven in East Sussex - where the burials are allowed.

Their bodies are wrapped in cotton sheets and placed inside plywood coffins, which have concrete attached.

Grieving relatives and friends are then taken on a boat to one of the two locations off the British coast.

John Lister, a director of the Britannia Shipping Company, based near Sidmouth, Devon, which has collected deposits from 150 people who have left instructions for a sea burial, said that everything would degrade.

London, Nov 14 : Aberglaslyn Pass, a narrow gorge that the Glaslyn river has carved through Mount Snowdon, has been named by the National Trust website as the ‘Finest View in Britain’.

The wilderness has been voted as the best view in the UK out of a top ten of mountains, castles and beaches around the country, reports the Independent.

Second on the list was Borrowdale in Cumbria followed by St Michael''s Mount, Cornwall, in the third place.

Holywell Bay, Cornwall, was fourth and rounding off the top five was the white cliffs of Dover.

The top ten views as voted by the public on the National Trust website are:

1. The Aberglaslyn Pass (Snowdonia, Wales)
2. Borrowdale (Keswick, Cumbria)

London, Nov 14 : London’s Metropolitan Police is to enter into negotiations for buying its headquarters, New Scotland Yard, after Land Securities puts the famous building up for sale.

The Metropolitan Police has decided to put in a bid to buy New Scotland Yard building, worth more than 100 million pound, which it currently rents.

Owner Land Securities put it on the market this week, saying it had generated “strong investor interest”.

The 20-storey building in Victoria Street, central London, has been home to the force since the 1960s. The decision to buy the site with taxpayers'' money was taken at a special Metropolitan Police Authority meeting.

London, Nov 14 : Sugababes Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah have revealed that they plan to do "raunchy" photoshoots in the future.

The all-girl band had previously shunned revealing too much to the cameras, preferring to focus on their music.

"We have never wanted to be seen as a band who sold themselves on doing raunchy photoshoots. First of all we were too young. I wanted for us to wait for us to be older,” The Sun quoted Keisha, as saying.
