London, Feb 7: Indian-origin doctor Priya Ramnath has been given a six-month suspended jail term by a UK court for killing an intensive care patient with an injection of adrenaline after ignoring the advice of colleagues.
The Birmingham crown court on Friday convicted Ramnath, who worked in Britain's National Health Service, of manslaughter for her involvement in the death of Patricia Leighton.
The four-week hearing was told that Leighton, from Burntwood, near Cannock, Staffordshire, died of heart failure shortly after being given adrenaline by Ramnath at Stafford District General Hospital, The Independent reported.
London, Feb 7: Cancer-stricken Jade Goody yesterday underwent emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening golf ball-sized tumour, according to reports.
The reality TV star - who is fighting for her life after being told the disease had spread to her bowel, groin and liver - was told by docs that they had to operate immediately to save her life after locating a golf ball-sized growth, the Daily Mirror said.
The tumour was found after she complained of agonising stomach pains, reports the Daily Express.

2012-2013.
Under the present agreement BSkyB have four packages. They had already held onto those in the first round of bidding.
They have reclaimed Monday nights while Setanta retain the Saturday evening fixtures.
The Premier League confirmed the overall value of the six packages, which each contains 23 live games, is 1.782 billion pounds (2.626 billion dollars).
London - A top British TV presenter has apologized for calling Prime Minister Gordon Brown a "one-eyed Scottish idiot" - in a reference to Brown's loss of sight in one eye as a teenager.
Jeremy Clarkson, a highly-paid presenter of the BBC's motoring programme Top Gear, made the comment to journalists in Sydney, Australia, when he was talking about the economy.
"In the heat of the moment I made a remark about the prime minister's personal appearance for which, upon reflection, I apologize," he said Friday.
