 IPL likely to submit revised schedule on TuesdayNew Delhi, Mar 16 : The Indian Premier League is likely to submit a revised schedule on Tuesday after Home Ministry advised IPL organisers that it may not be possible to hold the Twenty20 series as per its previous revised schedule.

A meeting between the Home Ministry and the BCCI officials on Monday ended without resolution with the Ministry making it clear that it was not in a position to spare para-military forces because of the Lok Sabha elections.

According to police officials, rescue workers recovered the bodies.

Meanwhile, the state government has called for scientific methods of mining to avoid such incidents.

Police officials said the delay in tracing the minors was because of a possibility that the mine might cave in further if heavy machinery was used to remove the debris.

No chance to join Third Front: Amar SinghNew Delhi, Mar 16 : Samajwadi Party (SP) General Secretary Amar Singh on Monday said that there was no hope for his party joining the Third Front with the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) leader Prakash Karat at its helm.

"With Karat being at the helm, I see no such hope of joining the Third Front," Singh made the remark when asked if there is a possibility of the SP joining the Third Front if the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) walked out of the alliance.

"What is happening in Pakistan is essentially its internal matter. Normally we do not comment on internal affairs of any country," India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told PTI news agency as the crisis in the neighbouring country seemed to subside.
