Houseboat owners in Kashmir launch save Dal lake campaignSrinagar, Mar 21: Houseboat Owner''s Association has launched campaign to spread awareness among the residents as well as tourists about Dal Lake.

Raw sewage, land encroachment and years of neglect have threatened survival of the lake.

Members of the Association are now pasting banners and poster with the message of protecting the lake on houseboats and Shikaras (Canoe).

With a bid to boost up its intelligence acquisition after the 26/11 terror attacks, India has acquired a high-precision spy satellite from Israel.

It is learnt that the 300 kilogram satellite named as Radar Satellite (RISAT-2) will be launched using the Indian rocket the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in the first week of April from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

Pakistan not probing official agencies link to Mumbai attacks: ChidambaramNew Delhi, Mar 21 : Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said Pakistan has failed to probe the involvement of official agencies in the Mumbai attacks.

Taking part in a television programme, Chidambaram said that neither has Islamabad allowed the Federal Bureau of Investigation to probe the 26/11 attacks, nor did it share any information it may have got from the interrogation of people detained in that country in connection with the attacks.
