Hyderabad, Sept. 30: One of India's prominent Muslim leaders and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) president Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi died here on Monday night after a prolonged illness. He was 76.

Owaisi was admitted to a private hospital on September 13 with breathing problems and had been on a ventilator since then. He breathed his last at around 9 p. m. at his residence in Hyderguda, a few hours after he was shifted from hospital, his son and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.

Hyderabad-based Aurobindo Pharma has informed that it has secured approval from US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for marketing Cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride tablets.

Under the approval, the company will market and distribute the drug in 10 mg and 5 mg strengths. The drug is a muscle relaxant, which is prescribed to relieve muscle spasms resulting from injuries such as sprains, strains, or pulls.

On Saturday, the company launched two diabetes management clinics under the brand name 'Sugar' on pilot basis in Hyderabad.

The latest launched clinics will provide comprehensive diagnosis and evaluation, education, and treatment, including life-style support to the diabetics.

Further, the clinics will also offer year-long disease management programme, including controlling blood sugar level and early intervention for complications of diabetes.

Hyderabad, Sept 24 : A minor fire broke out in two AC coaches of the Padmavati Express in Andhra Pradesh''s Prakasham district today.

Maytas Metro Ltd (MML) would complete the Rs 12,132-crore metro rail project in Hyderabad. The company has signed concession agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Government to complete the project.
