Hyderabad, Feb 4 : The Andhra Pradesh police is expected to arrest more people in connection with the Rs. 7, 800 crore Satyam Computers fraud case.

"We are constantly scrutinising the seized documents and trying to retrieve data from hard-disks and laptops recovered during the raids in residences and offices of Satyam officials including its former chairman B Ramalinga Raju," a senior Central Bureau of Investigation (CID) official investigating the Satyam fraud said on Thursday.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has loaded 25 trunks with seized documents that are being looked into by financial experts.

Hyderabad/Panaji, Feb 2 : The budget sessions of the Andhra Pradesh and Goa Assemblies are to be held from today.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly will kick start its ten-day session with Governor N. D Tiwari''s address to a joint sitting of members of Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K. Rosaiah will present a vote on account on February 5 to support the government''s moves to draw necessary funds till the completion of assembly elections.

Hyderabad, Jan 31: Indian Police Service probationers on Friday took part in an hour-long training camp on yoga here under the guidance of yoga guru Baba Ramdev.

Probationers of the Sardar Vallabhai Patel Police Academy said the workshop benefited them.

"We have a tough life, we need flexibility and these breathing exercises will give us strength. Yoga is necessary for all these. Also it will help us to build concentration," said Preeti Jain, a probationer.

Hyederabad, Jan 31: A judge of a trial court in Hyderabad has adjourned to February 9, the hearing of petition of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to grill Ramalinga Raju, the founder of Satyam Computer Services.

The court said it would not pass an order without hearing from Raju and his brother B Rama Raju.

Hyderabad, Jan. 28 : The campus recruits of Satyam Computer Services Ltd., fearing that the fraud-hit company would not honour their offer letters, staged protest against the company here on Wednesday.

The fraud-hit Satyam has has hogged headlines since the first week of January after its founder Ramalinga Raju resigned as chairman, while admitting that company's profits had been inflated for years, and that the one billion dollars in cash mentioned in the account books did not exist.

Hyderabad, Jan. 28 : A city court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of Satyam''s tainted founder Ramalinga Raju, former managing director Rama Raju and former CFO Vadlamani Srinivas.

The hearing of separate petition related to the bail application and police custody of SRSR Holding general manager Gopala Krishna Raju is scheduled for Thursday.

Ramalinga Raju's held stakes in Satyam through SRSR Holding, which is promoted by Raju's family.

Ramalinga Raju, Rama Raju and Srinivas will remain in judicial custody till January 31.
