Bangalore, July 5 : An emotional memorial was held at the Chopra Auditorium here on Saturday as homage to late Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw college.
Sunday, for the first time in India, witnessed a special gay parade that was organized in three Indian cities – Delhi , Bangalore and Kolkata. This parade was organized to raise voice for the rights of homosexuality. Hundreds of gays and lesbians paraded the streets of Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore to revolt against stigma and discrimination.
Bangalore, June 26 : The former President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on Thursday said the nuclear deal with the U. S. will prove beneficial to India.
Kalam was talking to the media at the sidelines of a conference on International Aero Space in here today he said that it was crucial for India to sign the deal with the US.
