Rashida Jones’ new documentary explores reality of Amateur Porn Industry

Rashida Jones’ documentary called ‘Hot Girls Wanted’ has offered a disturbing inside look at the amateur porn industry and the young women who occupy it.

The documentary has warned teen girls against the allure of the porn world. Jones said the film has been made not expose the porn business but to serve as a warning to teens and parents.

The documentary has set excellent warning on how girls get exploited in thirst for fame and fortune and get tempted to try porn as a path to success.

This documentary has been directed by Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus and produced by Rashida Jones. They shot the documentary over eight months to take a look at the journey taken by some girls.

They have spent time with a few young women involved in the ‘amateur porn’ to find out why they’ve chosen this work. They also got to know how the initial expectations of these girls are different from their subsequent realities.

The documentary ha pointed that more people visit porn sites in a month than Netflix, Twitter and Amazon combined. The porn industry is constantly on the lookout for new talent in order to meet the demand from customers.

There has been a massive increase in amateur porn production due to the affordability of equipment that enables anyone to create and promote media products directly to an audience.

The promise of game attracts girls and lures them. Gradus said that the porn recruiters just post ads on Craigslist and girls just answer them.

Jones said, "They get a free ticket. They come out, and they live in these houses with their agent. They have big dreams about what that's going to mean for them, but there's the grunt work of going out on castings and the first time you is having sex on camera”. The documentary will stream on Netflix starting Friday.
