Gonda (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 2 : An enquiry has been ordered into the train mishap in Gonda in Uttar Pradesh, which left 15 people dead and 51 injured.

The accident took place around 1.30pm, when a Gorakhpur-Ayodhya passenger train hit the truck at Kalyanpur railway crossing.

Railway Board Chairman, S S Khurana and acting General Manager of the North Eastern Railway, H S Pannu visited the accident site and ordered a probe into the accident.

Railway Safety Commissioner, P K Vajpayee would conduct the enquiry into the accident.

The Indian Railways have established help lines at Lucknow, Gonda, Khaliabad and Gorakhpur for the convenience of the passengers.
