PwC will recruit 2,000 employees for its Kolkata division
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is planning to recruit more than 2000 employees in the next 3 year in a brand-new service delivery centre which went live in this month in Kolkata. Within its global network it has already employed more than 650 people.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Service Delivery Center (Kolkata) Pvt Ltd is the new entity for this facility which is jointly owned by PwC in India, US, UK, Canada and Australia.
All the back office operations and analytics will be performed by the company only. This division will also handle clients across its global network.
Executive director at PwC India and member of the board at PwC Service Delivery Centre, Ambarish Dasgupta has said that the new company will have unlimited expansion capabilities. He has explained that investments will flow in from the five global PwC entities to this particular division.
He has said this while he was addressing to the media.
Mr. Dasgupta has also added that the Kolkata entity will gradually take over all back-office operations which are undertaken by PwC India in all across the world.
