Punj Lloyd Wins Two Orders Worth Rs 1,155 CrorePunj Lloyd Group, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) conglomerate, announced that it has bagged two orders worth Rs 1,154.61 crore.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said that the new orders include the company’s first infrastructure project in Libya, plus an oil and gas contract from Cairn Energy India Ltd.

The four-year infrastructure and utility project worth Rs 1,050.05 crore has been received from Housing and Infrastructure Board of Tripoli, Libya, in partnership with Public Works Company Tripoli (PWCT).

The scope of the order consists of up-gradation of infrastructure of Arada, a subsisting township in Tripoli, Libya.

The other contract awarded by Cairn Energy India Ltd worth Rs 104.56 crore would comprise engineering, procurement and construction of a pipeline in a stretch of 56.52 km.

Under this contract, which is expected to be finished within seven months, the company would lay a crude oil heated and insulated pipeline and a gas pipeline in section II for the Mangla Development Project, in Gujarat.

In addition to laying pipeline, the company would also build up 3 generator heating stations to heat the crude oil and the gas.

Shares of Punj Lloyd, on Wednesday (Jan 08) closed at Rs 138.20, down Rs 23.05 (14.29%) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The total volume of shares traded was 5,473,596. Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 11.24 and 12.30 respectively. The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 578 and a low of Rs 127.50 on BSE.
