PSPB Will Hand over Cash Prizes to Indian Medal Winners at Commonwealth GamesIndian players who have held the prestige of the country in high esteem by winning medals at the Commonwealth games have been enlisted by PSPB for congratulating them in special way. They will be conferred on cash prizes depending on their performance track records at the internationally recognized Commonwealth Games.

In a press release, Mr. Murti Deora, the present honorable Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, has told reporters that those participants who have earned gold medals will be awarded Rs10 lakhs in cash. Besides, there are other cash prizes amounting to 7.5 and 5 lakh rupees which will be gifted to silver and bronze medalists. This reward will surely help the talented players to perform more brilliantly in the next seasons.

PSPB has been set by to encourage sportsmen and players to play more energetically.

Till now, there are total 50 registered players who have been selected by PSPB. On the other hand, R. S. Sharma who is believed to be the honorable President of PSPB has announced that within few months, the PSPB will inaugurate Archery Academy institute at Bolpur in W. B. It is a brave attempt to boost up players to improve their skills in an amicable ambience.
