Prime Minister denies all allegations of bribery on his party membersThere were rumors that Congress party members have received hefty bribes for supporting rescue of the landmark civilian nuclear deal between India and the United States in July 2008, declaring in Parliament on Friday.

He said that no member from congress party had broken law or get involved in any unlawful act.

He further added that the rumors have been aired by American diplomatic cable obtained by WikiLeaks that is “unverified and unverifiable”.

Mr. Singh said that cable represents that a senior Congress Party told an American diplomat that a small regional party whose votes are important had been already paid millions of dollars to lend its support and showed off chests containing $25 million in cash he said was available for buying more votes.

He said that these allegations had already been rejected by a parliamentary committee.
