President Barack Obama is a multimillionaire
Financial disclosure reports issued on Monday have indicated that U. S. President Barack Obama is a multimillionaire and Vice President Joe Biden is far from being one.
According to the reports, the disclosure forms reveal Obama lists $1 million to $5 million in Treasury bills and $500,000 to $1 million in Treasury notes among his assets through last year. The bulk of his wealth comes from sales of his books "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope."
It was also reported that Obama also listed his dog "Bo," a Portuguese water dog valued at $1,600, as an asset. The dog was a gift from the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mas.
The report also noted that Biden doesn't list any assets valued at more than $100,000 on his forms. He did list receiving a first-edition copy of James Joyce's "Anna Livia Plurabelle," autographed by the author and valued at $3,500, given him by Margaret Spanel of Hightstown, N. J.
