Precious Metal, Gold Set Fresh Records in International MarketOn Monday, it was reported that the gold has set a fresh all time high record of Rs 28,540 per 10 grams in the international markets and the speculators have engaged in creating the huge positions, tracking a firming global trend, as the economy has slowed down and the European debt crisis have boosted the demand for a safe haven.

The weaker rupee and diversion of funds have supported the rise in gold prices and the rupee has fallen by 28 paisa on Monday, and it was traded at Rs. 46.02 in the forex market, which was recorded same as on November 30 last year.

And at the Multi Commodity Exchange, the gold for delivery in December has rushed by Rs. 1,408 or 0.22 % and have set the another high record of Rs. 28,347 per 10 grams resulting in the business turnover of 279 lots whereas the gold for delivery in October has increased by Rs. 70 or 0.18% to Rs. 28,024 per 10 grams, resulting in the business turnover of 5,990 lots.

Moreover, in the national capital, gold of 99.9% and 99.5 % purity has been increased by Rs 310 to Rs 28,540 and Rs 28,390 per ten grams.
